Product Engineer

Job Description Summary

1. Conduct feasibility analysis and cost evaluation for powder metallurgy products or other products manufacturable via powder metallurgy processes.
2. Lead the project team for new product development and project management, achieving established project objectives including timeline, quality, profit, and cost control.
3. Lead the technical transfer of new projects between factories.

Job Description:

1.Feasibility analysis of customer drawings.

2.Design process flow and select raw materials.

3.Review partial documents of process engineering.

4.Establish a core project team and set clear objectives for team members.

5.Develop a project management plan to ensure compliance with customer development and APQP requirements.

6.Track new product trial production, lead the project team to resolve issues during trial production.

7.Assist the sales department in providing technical consultation and services to customers.

8.Lead relevant DPM activities.

Required Skills and Education

1、Proficient in powder metallurgy materials and processes, capable of independently designing the complete process flow for powder metallurgy.

2、Familiar with the requirements of the automotive industry quality system IATF 16949 and the five core quality tools.3,

3、Well-versed in project management processes, knowledgeable about the APQP process, and able to use basic project management tools.

4 、Strong communication and collaboration skills.

5 、Excellent English communication skills, including oral English and listening comprehension.

6、Understanding of the basic applications of products in the automotive industry.

7、Proficient in AutoCAD or any other CAD software, with basic UG modeling skills.
