Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Business Performance

  • Lead the annual budget, forecast, and long-range planning processes.
  • Analyze business performance against financial and operational KPIs.
  • Develop business cases and financial evaluations for strategic initiatives, investments, and projects.
  • Provide financial guidance to support decision-making and achievement of business targets.
  • Identify risks and opportunities and recommend corrective actions to improve financial results.

Financial Management & Controlling

  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting in compliance with corporate policies and accounting standards.
  • Monitor and control operating expenses, capital expenditures, and working capital performance.
  • Analyze variances versus budget, forecast, and prior year results, identifying root causes and corrective actions.
  • Support audits and coordinate responses to internal and external audit requirements.

Reporting & Business Insights

  • Develop, enhance, and standardize financial reporting tools, dashboards, and management reports.
  • Provide insightful analysis of financial trends, business results, profitability, and operational performance.
  • Translate complex financial information into actionable recommendations for leadership teams.
  • Present financial performance reviews to management and key stakeholders.

Internal Controls & Compliance

  • Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial data integrity.
  • Monitor compliance with corporate financial policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and governance standards.
  • Identify and address control gaps, process inefficiencies, and compliance risks.
  • Support implementation and monitoring of compliance programs across the organization.

Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong partnerships with operational, functional, and leadership teams.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by providing financial expertise and recommendations.
  • Support business leaders in evaluating alternatives, assessing risks, and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to achieve organizational objectives.

Systems & Process Improvement

  • Support implementation and enhancement of financial systems, tools, and reporting platforms.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, automation, data quality, and financial processes.
  • Promote best practices in forecasting, reporting, analysis, and financial governance.

Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop members of the Finance Controlling team.
  • Establish clear objectives and performance expectations.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and high-performance execution.
  • Communicate priorities and align team activities with organizational strategy.

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), or Controlling roles.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing and operational environments preferred.
  • Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and business partnering.
  • Experience leading teams and managing cross-functional stakeholders.

Required Skills and Education

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
  • MBA, Master's Degree, CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification preferred.

Technical Skills
