Be apart of our growing team at Oxford Forge! Oxford Forge, is seeking Maintenance Technicians to ensure the continuous operation and optimal performance of our manufacturing equipment. This role involves supporting production operations through both routine maintenance, and emergency repairs of mechanical systems. This individual needs to have strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and abilities, with hands on experience in industrial maintenance repair and welding. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, mechanical forging presses, hydraulic extrusion presses, and both hydraulic and pneumatic motion systems.Job Description:
* Execute scheduled preventative maintenance on all production machinery, including presses, furnaces, and ancillary equipment.
* Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical (up to 480V), pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
* Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime and production interruptions.
* Perform routine inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
* Install, adjust, and calibrate new machinery and equipment.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
* Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies, including lockout/tagout procedures.
* Collaborate with production teams to understand equipment performance and maintenance needs.
* Assist in the training of junior maintenance staff when required.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability and efficiency.
Job Qualifications**
* Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical (PLC experience a plus), pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
* Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations relevant to industrial maintenance.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in various environmental conditions (e.g., heat, noise).
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and on-call rotations, as needed.
Required Skills and Education
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
- * Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in an industrial maintenance role, preferably within a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
