Production Team Lead

Job Description Summary

We’re looking for a Production Team Lead at the American Axle Subiaco location to help drive performance, support the team, and keep operations running smoothly. Job Description:

What you’ll do:

• Lead and support daily production activities
• Keep the team on track with safety, quality, and efficiency goals
• Communicate clearly across shifts and departments
• Help solve problems as they arise on the floor
• Set the tone for teamwork, accountability, and reliability

What it takes to succeed:

• Strong attendance and reliability
• Positive attitude and ability to work well with others
• Clear communication and solid people skills
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
• Comfort using systems like Plex, MS Office, and Workday

What to expect:

• Hands-on training provided on the production floor
• Learn the role through direct, on-the-floor experience
• Annual Workday training is required

Required Skills and Education

High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required. Prefer 2-5 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting
