Job Description Summary

1. Position Objective

Coordinate and control information related to RMC investment projects and their subsequent capitalization into Fixed Assets, ensuring timely monitoring of scope, schedule, cost, resources, and deliverables through data analysis, report updates, and deviation identification. This enables the implementation of corrective actions and supports effective decision-making.

2. Key Responsibilities
Monitor the physical and financial progress of each project.
Compare budget, actual expenditures, and investment and fixed asset completion forecasts.
Identify and analyze schedule, cost, and scope variances.
Prepare periodic project progress reports for Management and Executive Leadership.
Maintain and update key performance indicators (KPIs).
Track commitments, action items, and delivery dates.
Record asset capitalizations and control changes to project scope, budget, and asset depreciation schedules.
Monitor risks, issues, and mitigation actions, including the quarterly identification of idle assets.
Coordinate follow-up meetings and prepare meeting minutes and action plans.
Consolidate information from the different departments involved in projects.
Validate the consistency and reliability of reported information.
Prepare executive presentations on project performance.
Support the preparation and updating of budgets and forecasts.
3. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Project schedule compliance.
Budget vs. actual expenditure variance.
Forecasted cost vs. budget variance.
Percentage of physical progress versus planned progress.
Deliverables completion rate.
Commitment date compliance.
Percentage of risks with mitigation actions implemented.
4. Required Profile
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Management Engineering, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
5. Experience
2 to 4 years of experience in project control and monitoring, planning, cost management, PMO, finance, or related areas.
Experience preparing executive reports and analyzing performance indicators.
6. Technical Knowledge
Project planning and monitoring.
Budget control.
Cost analysis.
KPI development and monitoring.
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Executive reporting.
Preferred:
Power BI
Microsoft Project
ERP/SAP systems
