Job Description Summary

Job Summary**

Oversee and coordinate the activities of workers engaged in the finishing processes of manufactured products at El Carmen Manufacturing Facility, ensuring production targets are met with high quality standards.

Job Description:

* Supervise, train, and motivate a team of finishing operators, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and company policies.
* Plan and organize daily finishing operations, including scheduling, material allocation, and equipment utilization to optimize efficiency and output.
* Monitor production progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to maintain smooth workflow and meet deadlines.
* Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and resolve any quality issues promptly.
* Maintain accurate production records, including daily output, downtime, and material usage.
* Collaborate with other departments, such as production, quality control, and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations.
* Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
* Ensure all team members are adequately trained on equipment operation, safety procedures, and quality standards.
* Report on production performance, challenges, and proposed solutions to management.

Required Skills and Education

Job Qualifications**

Engineering degree completed in industrial, manufacturing, mechanical, administrative or related field
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role, preferably in finishing operations.
* Strong understanding of finishing processes, equipment, and quality control principles.
* Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Proficiency in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
